ABSTRACT

A NEW FORM OF CIVIL SOCIETY, CENSORSHIP AND SOCIOPOLITICAL STRUGGLES DURING PANDEMIC TIMES

This article offers an analyze of the sociopolitical dynamic in the authoritarian situation of the Covid-19 pandemic (mainly but not only in France). To this aim, first I scrutinize the emergence of new actors in the field of civil society. Then, I show the impact of censorship and its consequences in the field of science, mass media and politics. Last, in the context of algorithmic post-truth, I analyze the nature of the political conflict using several examples.
