This study analyzes the correlation between female crime and Stockholm syndrome. Due to the fact that researchers focused in their studies on crimes committed by men, criminologists, sociologists and psychologists concentrated little time and attention to the female crime phenomenon.In this article I focused on the sociological interpretation of the results obtained by participant observation, an interview and a questionnaire on the Stockholm syndrome, applied to a number of 25 women imprisoned in Târguşor Prison for the murdering of their partner.
